Work
How things change! So, last time i was here I was trying to decide if I was up to the challenge of a fulltime role after so many years out of the game. And now... well, even three and a half years ago seems a lifetime.
All of the old truths are still true, but my most recent work is Employer Branding work. I've stayed fairly flexible in terms of creative thinking and learned a lot about the power of company cultures and the difference between a consumer and an employee. A lot of my the other work remains older. How much older? Well, I'd say 60% of it died when Adobe stopped supporting Flash. Yeah, that old.
Accor Hotels

Brought in by Accenture Interactive Paris to organise and motivate a team of internationally distributed copywriters and ensure the work reflected the standards of a native speaker.
The National Trust

PastPorte Productions had been tasked with creating a binaural guide for the gardens at Hidcote Manor, Gloucestershire. The project featured an audio tour of the gardens in the company of it's designer, Laurence Johnston. I wrote six episodes, covering the development of the estate and it's eventual passing into the hands of the NT.
Children's BBC - AWNTY

I got invited to join CBBC as a development producer to work on an alternative platform project. AWNTY - Are We Nearly There Yet? - looked at the potential of Sat Navs for hosting BBC content. Rivenhorse Spink was one of the four projects we developed.

The eponymous hero was introduced as having suffered a time-travel equipment malfunction, causing him to become lost in the spaces between time (which for the demo was limited to a stretch of the M1 just outside Watford).
Volvo

Asked to return to EHS Brann to take up the role of Creative Director for Volvo, specifically for the 'Life on Board' campaign, I managed a small creative team of developers and designers and worked with the client team to identify what they wanted from the web. It was a process of perpetual development, and the site went on to win several awards.
